ABEA Virtual Meeting

The American Broncho-Esophagological Association (ABEA) is hosting a free virtual meeting on Friday, April 24th from 11AM-4PM EST, named “Best of ABEA Annual Meeting 2020.”

From their website www.abea.net, “This interactive online session will feature 24 excellent and representative scientific submissions from our original COSM program as well as a timely panel on the current state of knowledge and clinical matters as it relates to COVID in our field. The ABEA will also be welcoming colleagues in the American Laryngological Association, American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology,  European Laryngological Society, British Laryngological Association, and the European Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology to join us in our “BIG TENT” of the ABEA community for this special event.“

The GIRC’s Dr. Kris Jatana will be presenting the “Importance of global foreign body injury reporting: Chevalier Jackson’s legacy carried to smartphone app.” The scientific session begins at 12PM EST, and we expect Dr. Jatana’s presentation to begin around 12:20PM EST.
